The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently looking for a Master's Level Therapist/Clinician to join our team of dedicated professionals.

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156‑bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, the Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina.

Position Summary

We are seeking a PRN Master’s Level Therapist/Clinician to provide therapeutic services to patients, including group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

• Facilitate therapy groups
• Complete psychosocial assessments
• Maintain patient, program, department, and related documentation
• Effectively communicate with patient family or patient social support
• Apply effective discharge planning skills
• Use effective oral and written communication skills
• Participate in treatment care planning and help implement the plan
• Have substantial knowledge of therapeutic skills and use them to intervene with behavioral health patients
• Participate in restraint and seclusion of patients when required
• Support hospital Service Excellence standards
• Complete annual and other training in a timely manner

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a similar field is required. Licensure is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills.
