The Therapist Intern at Rogers Behavioral Health develops, coordinates, and facilitates direct social services for patients and families across inpatient and outpatient settings. Working with your university, duties may include cognitive behavioral therapies and clinical interventions while ensuring patient safety and professional communication.

Required: Bachelor's degree and enrollment in a Master's program in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling; completion of Rogers onboarding

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree completed; enrolled in MSW or Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and human growth and behavior.
• Successful completion of Rogers onboarding training coursework prior to start.
• Formal training in aggressive patient management (NCI) within 60 days of placement.

Aufgaben

• Provide social services to patients and families/significant others.
• Complete all documentation within required time.
• Complete discharge documentation as required and on time.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions.
• Communicate professionally and accurately.
• Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary approach, facilitating effective communication among staff.
• Participate in site committees.
• Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility.
