Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a Therapist Intern to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services for patients and families. The role may involve inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings under supervision.

The position emphasizes hands-on clinical interventions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and participation in site committees, with a focus on safety and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's Degree and enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, and dynamics of human growth and behavior.
• Successful completion of Rogers onboarding training coursework prior to start.
• NCI training for aggressive patients within 60 days of placement, annual recertification provided.
• Background checks through Rogers system required.
• Occupational health clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others.
• Complete documentation within required time.
• Complete discharge documentation as required and on time.
• Provide leadership and guidance in implementing clinical interventions.
• Communicate professionally and accurately.
• Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary communication.
• Participate in site committees.
• Ensure patient and facility safety.
