Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health is hiring a Primary Therapist to join the Inpatient program at our Doylestown, PA campus. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with one weekend per month, and includes full-time benefits and competitive pay.

The position also offers a $5,000 commitment bonus and opportunities to work with children and adolescents using a combination of individual, family, and group modalities. Foundations emphasizes a supportive, multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Services.
• Minimum 200 hours supervised clinical experience.
• Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy using behavior-based interventions for children and adolescents via individual, family, and group modalities.
• Performs biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborates with youth and families to address behavior changes.
• Develops discharge plans with aftercare services in the community.

Therapist Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services utilizing behavior based interventions to children and adolescents utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.
• Performs biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment plan that results in positive outcomes for patients.
• Works collaboratively with youth and their families to effectively address positive behavior changes.
• Develops a discharge plan with the child and family that includes aftercare services in the community that can provide continued support to the child and family post-discharge.
