Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health is seeking a Primary Therapist to join the Inpatient program at our Doylestown, PA campus. This onsite role runs Monday–Friday 8:30a–5:00p with one weekend per month.

A $5,000 commitment bonus is available alongside full-time benefits. The therapist will provide behavioral and family-focused therapy to children and adolescents, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster positive outcomes and a solid discharge plan

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university.
• Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.
• Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services utilizing behavior based interventions to children and adolescents utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.
• Performs biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment plan that results in positive outcomes for patients.
• Works collaboratively with youth and their families to effectively address positive behavior changes.
• Develops a discharge plan with the child and family that includes aftercare services in the community that can provide continued support to the child and family post-discharge.
