Job summary

Foundations Behavioral Health is seeking a Primary Therapist for the Inpatient program at our Doylestown, PA campus. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with one weekend per month required and a commitment bonus of $5,000.

The therapist will deliver individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and develop multidisciplinary treatment plans to achieve positive outcomes. A full benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university.
• Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.
• Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services utilizing behavior based interventions to children and adolescents utilizing individual, family, and group modalities.
• Performs biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment plan that results in positive outcomes for patients.
• Works collaboratively with youth and their families to effectively address positive behavior changes.
• Develops a discharge plan with the child and family that includes aftercare services in the community that can provide continued support to the child and family post-discharge.
