Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) Beloit outpatient mental health team is seeking a full-time Therapist or Therapist-In-Training. This role supports individuals pursuing independent licensure by providing individual therapy under licensed supervision, with DOC and community clients.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule: onsite Monday/Wednesday, telehealth Tuesday/Thursday, and Friday by client need. Four 10-hour days, one evening appointment at 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field; practicum in mental health or related services.
• Eligible for Wisconsin licensure (APSW/LPC-IT/MFT-IT/LPC/LCSW/LMFT).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building interventions.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment team and recovery team meetings.
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, evidence-based practices.
