Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) Beloit outpatient mental health team seeks a full-time Therapist or Therapist-In-Training working toward independent licensure to provide individual therapy and related services.

Under supervision, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver psychotherapy, collaborate with community partners, and benefit from supervision and professional development in a flexible hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Practicum experience in mental health, substance use, or community-based services.
• Eligible for or currently holding Wisconsin licensure (APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling.
• Deliver psychoeducation and skill-building interventions.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment team and recovery team meetings.
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices.
• Focus on individual therapy with occasional group coverage.
