Job summary

The Blanchard Institute is a family-centered behavioral health treatment center in North Carolina, offering PHP/IOP services. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician role involves therapy across modalities, treatment planning, and discharge planning within a collaborative team.

Qualified candidates hold a state license or eligibility (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT/LCAS) and have experience in behavioral health settings, including group and family therapy. PRN, part-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution required.
• At least one year’s training and/or clinical experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in a behavioral health, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment setting preferred.
• Experience with treatment planning, clinical documentation, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities preferred.
• Prior work in residential, outpatient, or multidisciplinary treatment environments preferred.
• Current state clinical licensure or licensure eligibility (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Associate licensure considered.
• Dual licensure or certification in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment (LCAS) is strongly preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR Certification
• Crisis Intervention Certification

Responsibilities

• Facilitating group, individual therapy, and family therapy, assessing client progress, and conducting discharge planning.
• Partnering with treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care, QA participation, and education presentations.
