Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a licensed therapist for our REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–4:30pm) within a 24/7 crisis stabilization program.

The role requires a Master’s degree and licensure (LMSW/LPC-A/LMFT-A) with experience in trauma, mental health, or substance use disorders. We provide comprehensive benefits, professional development, and support for clinical growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or higher in related field is required.
• Experience with trauma, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Licensure as LMSW/LPC-A/LMFT-A required; other licenses may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with the program model.
• Conducts clinical and risk assessments.
• Collaborates with individuals to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues.
• Works with clients to develop discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
• Maintains client and staff records per agency policy.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor clients in crisis.
• Transports clients using agency or personal vehicles as needed.
• Participates in weekly supervision, consultations, and meetings.
