Job summary

CHR Community Health Resources, Inc. seeks a part-time Therapist for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. The role requires 16 hours weekly, Saturdays and Sundays 4pm–12am, and involves assessments, crisis intervention, and person-centered treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in related field.
• Experience with trauma, mental illness and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Licensure: LMSW, LMFT-A, LPCA required; LCSW/LMFT/LPC/Licensed Psychologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions per program model.
• Conducts clinical and risk assessments.
• Collaborates to create individualized treatment plans.
• Demonstrates competency for age-related or specialty issues.
• Develops discharge plans with natural supports; maintains records.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention in various settings.
