Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions in Kansas is seeking an in-home Family Therapist to support children and families within our Family Preservation Services program. You will apply trauma-informed practices to promote self-regulation, communication, and problem-solving while coordinating with schools, agencies, and community partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, LMSW/LMLP/LMFT/LCP/LPC licensure, and at least two years of experience with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Licensure: LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LCP, LPC required; clinical licensure preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with children and families in behavioral/emotional support.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
• Ability to develop client-focused interventions and manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy in home, school, and community settings.
• Develop treatment plans based on evidence-based assessments.
• Collaborate with public/private agencies and community partners.
• Support families in crisis with 24-hour on-call rotation and interventions.
• Ensure timely documentation for client case records and reports.
• Coordinate long-term service needs with Behavioral Health and other staff.
• Use technology to maintain electronic client files and data.
