Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking therapists to provide individual, group, and family therapy across PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels for adults and adolescents. This PRN role offers about 4-5 hours weekly with some evening shifts, particularly around 5:00–7:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and broader afternoon/evening coverage Mon–Thu from 4:00–8:00 pm.

Compensation ranges from $26.44 to $35.57 per hour depending on licensure and experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy with client and family.
  • Create and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals.
  • Provide guidance during meals when indicated to promote healthy eating behaviors.
  • Contribute to treatment team discussions with client assessments and family dynamics.
  • Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to inform treatment planning.
  • Support milieu management to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
  • Generate discharge plans and coordinate next steps of care.
  • Collaborate with external professionals to ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
  • Therapist II may provide clinical supervision to colleagues when appropriate.

Position Overview

Therapists provide individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment to the clients and their family.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work across the PHP, IOP, and Outpatient levels of care with both adult and adolescent clients.

Schedule

PRN, working approximately 4-5 hours per week with ability to pick up additional coverage hours when available.

Targeting ~2 hours around 5:00 - 7:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

General coverage availability hours would be in the afternoon/evenings Monday through Thursday within the 4:00 - 8:00pm Time Frame.

Compensation Range
  • Therapist I (Pre-independently licensed): $26.44 - $31.25
  • Therapist II (Independently licensed: $31.25 - $35.57

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position.

How Therapists Empower Recovery
  • Conducts individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions with the client and their family/ community of support utilizing evidence-based treatments.
  • Create, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with the client's evolving therapeutic needs and goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching during individual client and family meals when clinically indicated, promoting healthy eating behaviors, and addressing disordered eating patterns.
  • Actively contribute to treatment team discussions by sharing client assessments, family dynamics, and responses to therapeutic interventions.
  • Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to assess new clients, gathering essential clinical information to inform treatment planning.
  • Support the therapeutic environment by assisting with milieu management as needed, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all clients.
  • Generates discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations, and coordinating next level of care services.
  • Work closely with external professionals and community agencies to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of care for client's post-discharge.
  • Therapist II (Independently Licensed) will offer clinical supervision to colleagues when appropriate, depending on licensure and expertise.
Qualifications
Education Qualifications:

Therapist I - Current Provisional or Associate licensure required in the state of employment required.

Therapist II - Current independent licensure in the state of employment required.

Master's degree in a behavioral sciences field required.

Professional Qualifications:
  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required.
  • DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred.
  • Eating Disorders treatment experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
