Discovery Ranch South, located near Cedar City, Utah, is seeking part-time mentors to support teenage girls on their healing journeys through experiential therapy. Mentors lead activities like horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing, and hiking in a relationship-based residential setting.

We value teamwork, safety, and strong boundaries. Candidates must be 19+, have a high school diploma, and be eligible to work in the USA; background and motor vehicle checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 19+ years of age.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check.
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment).
• Works well within a team.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Good judgement.
• Safety-oriented.
• Firm, healthy boundaries.
• Must be able to complete responsibilities under various weather conditions such as snow, ice, heat.
• Must be able to adhere to physical demands of walking, running, lifting, hiking, and animal related activities.

Responsibilities

• Help teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey.
• Assist with experiential therapy activities like horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
• Build rapport with students to support healing and lasting change.
• Work as part of a team to ensure safety and program quality.
