Northeast Center for Youth and Families has a full-time opening for the position of Therapeutic Training and Support Workerto be part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The TT&SW works under the supervision of a clinician to support implementation of the Clinician's treatment plan and assists the youth and family in achieving the goals of the plan. Implementation of objectives for the treatment plan will address the youth's mental health, behavioral and emotional needs. This service includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth's emotional and mental health needs.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and one (1) year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs ORan Associate’s Degree and a minimum of one (1) year of relevant direct service experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.

Or

High School Diploma/GED plus at least two years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition-aged youths.

  • Active/valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and approved DMV record.
  • Verification of adequate personal auto insurance on vehicle(s) to be used (minimum limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident for Optional Body Injury to others, and minimum limits of at least $100,000 for Damage to Someone Else's Property) *Insurance Policy must be brought to interview.
