Beverly Public Schools seeks a dedicated educator to provide direct instruction to SSP students with social-emotional and behavioral needs. You will tailor lessons with accommodations, plan strategies reflecting diverse learning styles, and collaborate across staff to meet district goals.

You will also assess student progress, communicate with families, and ensure compliant implementation of accommodations and modifications in the school setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate content area.
• Massachusetts DESE licensure in the relevant subject/grades.
• SEI Endorsement required within one year of start.
• Experience writing IEP goals and reporting progress.
• Familiarity with assessments used for eligibility and reevaluations.
• Experience teaching students with varying disabilities in reading, math and written language.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct instruction for students.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for differences and learning styles.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting learning needs.
• Manage student behavior in alignment with district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and methods.
• Develop substitute plans as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning through tests.
• Maintain asset-based mindset to support all students' potential.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and language development.
• Analyze student data to tailor curriculum for diverse learners.
• Coordinate with staff to implement accommodations across the school setting.
• Communicate with parents and outside agencies as needed.
