Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy across a defined US territory. Field-based role requiring up to 70% travel, engaging psychiatrists, treatment centers, and integrated care systems to support launch and uptake.

You will educate providers on the therapy, assist with patient selection and referrals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize delivery and reimbursement pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant, and compelling product and disease-state education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with patient selection and referrals.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboard, readiness, and optimization of delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow considerations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and addressing provider challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and patient journey optimization.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
