International Community Health Services (ICHS) is hiring a Recreational Therapist to assess participants, develop tailored therapy plans, and support the PACE team. The role requires CTRS certification, Washington State registration, and active BLS upon hire, contributing to high-quality care for the elderly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program preferred, providing and coordinating services for the frail or elderly within a health care setting.
• Active Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification; WA Recreational Therapist Registration upon hire; BLS upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess needs, interests and capabilities of participants and develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans.
• Provide leadership and support to Recreational Assistants and contribute to a comprehensive PACE program.
