Job summary

PACE KC seeks a Life Enrichment Specialist to plan and supervise recreational programs for participants at the Adult Wellness Center and in their homes. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide social and spiritually meaningful activities addressing physical and cognitive needs.

Successful candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Recreational Therapy, have 2 years of healthcare experience as a Recreational Therapist, and at least 1 year supervisory experience, plus 1 year working

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Recreational Therapy.
• 2 years of experience as a Recreational Therapist in a healthcare environment.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 1 year of experience working with the elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement recreational programs for participants.
• Coordinate social, recreational, purposeful, and spiritual activities for participants at the facility and in their homes.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
