Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Therapeutic In-Home Coach for Fayetteville, NC and surrounding areas. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges through the START program, delivering in-home and community-based interventions.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field plus experience with the target population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human service field required.

Responsibilities

• Coaches implement person-specific therapeutic interventions in home/community settings and communicate with primary caregivers.
• Contribute to crisis stabilization and prevention by providing hands-on assistance and education to families.
• Participate in START services that collaborate with primary providers, clinical home, community crisis services, family and others.
• Offer consultation and hands-on education with the whole family and support system to create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Assist individuals with daily activities, behavioral health needs, and health, wellness, and leisure activities.
• Monitor mental health or behavioral symptoms and provide crisis prevention, intervention and de-escalation.
• Maintain timely documentation of session and visits.
• Must be self-motivated and efficient with time.
• Help families develop coping strategies.

Education
