Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Therapeutic In-Home Coach for the START Program in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in home and community settings, delivering crisis interventions and coaching.

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field with 2 years’ experience preferred; responsibilities include collaboration with families, documentation, crisis prevention, and coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related human service field required.
• 2 years’ experience with the population served preferred.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach individuals in home or community settings with crisis interventions.
• Communicate interventions to primary caregivers and families.
• Assist with daily activities, health, wellness, and leisure activities.
• Monitor mental health/behavioral symptoms and provide crisis prevention/ de‑escalation.
• Maintain timely session notes and data documentation.
