Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure required in Moderate Disabilities 5th-12th grade (preferred).
• Alternatively Mathematics 8-12 or Science 8-12 licensure; dual licensure highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Teach 4-5 year-long high school math and science classes aligned with MA Curriculum Frameworks.
• Teach 1-2 varied semester-long high-interest electives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary learning projects and initiatives.
• Utilize instructional and assistive technology to support differentiation.
• Design and implement curriculum to meet personalized learning needs; monitor progress on goals.
• Partner with families/caretakers and paraeducators for effective IEP development.
