Assabet Valley Collaborative seeks a High School Math & Science Special Education Teacher for Orchard Street Academy, a therapeutic day school. The role involves leading 4–5 math/science classes, teaching electives, and collaborating across teams to implement cross-curricular projects and IEP goals.

Ideal candidates hold MA DESE Moderate Disabilities licensure with possible dual licensure in Math or Science.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE licensure required.
• Dual licensure in Math or Science strongly preferred.
• Experience with IEPs and inclusive practices is expected.

Responsibilities

• Teach 4–5 high school math and science classes aligned with MA frameworks.
• Teach 1–2 electives per year.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
• Use instructional and assistive technology to engage students and differentiate instruction.
• Design curricula to meet personalized learning needs and monitor progress.
