Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Foster Care Coordinator to monitor and evaluate services provided by Foster Parents, coordinate FC services, and assist families, foster families, and youth in care with needed services. The role includes training and supervising direct support staff and ensuring family-centered support.

The FC Coordinator will act as a liaison to DSS, DMH, and other agencies, conduct intakes and assessments, and develop person-centered service plans to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field with two years of mh/dd/sa experience or equivalent.
• Master's degree in a human service field with one year of mh/dd/sa experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates foster care services and coordinates FC services.
• Trains and supervises direct support staff and ensures family-centered support.
• Acts as liaison with DSS, DMH and community agencies for service planning.
• Performs intakes, assessments, and collects documentation for placement decisions.
• Develops, coordinates, and monitors person-centered service plans.
