Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Prep Cook to assist in preparing regular and therapeutic meals for residents. You will help with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and function catering, and support tray line and serving duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to read menu slips, menus and recipes.
• Understand therapeutic diets and implement appropriate meal plans.
• Able to read and interpret menus with basic math for portioning.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods for community meals according to the menu and recipes.
• Help prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and special function catering.
• Assist with tray line, serving residents, and dishwashing tasks as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and complete routine cleaning tasks.
