Job summary

Responsibilities

• Meet with newly admitted children/youth within 2 business days and assist with program orientation.
• Enroll children in daycare or school within 48 hours of admission.
• Coordinate with DFCS to secure childcare certificates and monitor the application process.
• Develop therapeutic and prevention goals as part of family treatment plans.
• Lead weekly therapeutic, prevention, art, and recreational groups for children and youth.
• Provide regular case management services and monitor client progress.
• Offer parenting support through individual consultations and weekly parenting groups.
• Coordinate with schools, daycare centers, and community resources to support children’s needs.
• Plan and coordinate family activities for weekends and holidays.
• Present cases to multidisciplinary treatment teams and participate in treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, discharge summaries, and case records.
• Attend team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.
• Report concerns related to abuse, neglect, or safety issues.
• Follow agency policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview The RSU Therapeutic Childcare (TCC) Case Manager supports children, adolescents, teens, and their families participating in the RSU program. The role combines case management, therapeutic services, family support, coordination with schools and childcare providers, and documentation responsibilities to promote healthy development and recovery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Development, Psychology, Education, Social Work, Health Education, Addiction Studies, or a related human services field.
