Job summary

The Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Therapeutic Apheresis Treatment Unit in Minnesota. The role involves coordinating nursing care for patients across the age spectrum, including donor collections and therapeutic treatments, with opportunities for inpatient and operative room involvement.

Responsibilities include direct patient assessment, education, and transitions of care, within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Must obtain current RN license by state requirements.
• BLS certification valid for 90 days post start date; multiple acceptable certs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient education across the continuum of care.
• Provide direct patient care in the Apheresis unit and inpatient settings as needed.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement and committee projects.
• Possibly drive personal vehicle as part of role.
