Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse for the Therapeutic Apheresis Treatment Unit. You will provide direct patient care across the age range and support donor collections and therapeutic procedures, in a 17-bay unit with inpatient and OR coverage.

The RN coordinates nursing care, mentors staff, participates in quality improvement, and ensures safe care transitions. Requirements include state RN licensure, BLS, and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• If entering with an associate degree, evidence of BSN within five years from RN start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families; manage transitions of care.
• Participate in quality improvement and committees; lead when able.
