Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Therapeutic Apheresis Treatment Unit. This role provides direct patient care for neonates to geriatrics in an outpatient setting, including donor collections and therapeutic procedures.

The RN coordinates care, educates families, and supports transitions of care within Mayo Clinic’s Nursing Practice Model. Required: nursing program graduate and 1 year RN experience; strong communication, independence, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Must be able to work independently and possess excellent skills in patient assessment and critical thinking.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• License and Certification requirements to start within the specified timeframe are listed in the position description.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across the patient care continuum.
• Provide direct patient care and educate patients and families.
• Participate in transitions of care and quality improvement initiatives.
• Show leadership through preceptor and committee activities as assigned.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
