Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse to join the Therapeutic Apheresis Treatment Unit. You will coordinate patient care, perform assessments, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care in a hospital outpatient setting.

You will work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call. RN licensure and BLS are required; experience with EMR systems is preferred. TN sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• One year RN experience in acute care setting or Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Ability to work independently; strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills; effective communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education across care transitions.
• Provide direct patient care and lead in clinical areas.
• Demonstrate leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in committees or projects as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call; may drive personal vehicle if required.
