Job summary

Senior Living Residences Marlboro in Meredith, NH, is seeking a Programming Assistant (Therapeutic Activities) to support the Program Director in creating, scheduling, and implementing therapeutic programs for memory care residents.

The role covers coordinating daily programming, arranging entertainment and outings, and assisting with family education sessions. Temporary day shifts start at $16/hour with a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
• Excellent communication with residents and coworkers.
• Punctuality and reliability in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week.
• Coordinate with entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site.
• Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff.
• Develop monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media.
