Job summary

Broadwaymanorcarecenter seeks an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning, coordinating, and implementing a therapeutic activity program for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will help keep residents engaged, participate in outside activities, assist with resident council meetings, adapt programs to meet needs, and promote social interaction with an outgoing personality. CNA certification and SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certificate required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will assist in daily activities throughout the day for patients, keeping them engaged and motivated.
• Assist with planning and participating in outside activities.
• Assist with monthly resident council meetings.
• Adapt recreation programs to meet residents' needs and capabilities.
• Direct and organize activities to develop interpersonal relationships and social participation.
• Be a self-starter with an entertaining and outgoing personality.
