Job summary

Village Point is seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to join our team at our Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Monroe Township, NJ. The Activities Aide will provide therapeutic activity programs to residents and support ongoing care.

Responsibilities include organizing, directing and evaluating activities; preparing supplies and schedules; and assisting with outings. Education requirements include a high school diploma; relevant certifications are preferred and two years of related

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in a similar role sought.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and directing therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Plan and implement therapeutic activities; assist Director in planning, organizing and implementing activities.
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity; escort residents to and from groups; conduct group activities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred

2 Years experience in a similar role preferred
