Job summary

Village Point is a Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Monroe Township, NJ. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to join our team and provide therapeutic activity programs for residents.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation preferred; two years of related experience preferred. Pay range: $16.15-$17.47 per hour; schedule: Fridays 12PM-5PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
• 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities.
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities.
• Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
• Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
• Assist with outings.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Village Point is a Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center located in Monroe Township, NJ. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.
