Job summary

Monroe Village in Monroe Township, NJ, seeks a part-time Activities Aide to join our team. You will provide therapeutic activity programs to residents and support the Director in planning engaging activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, enjoys working with seniors, and is available 3PM–7PM, 3 evenings per week. Certifications are preferred; benefits include paid time off and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification preferred (NCAP or NCTRC).
• 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, develop and direct therapeutic activities for groups or individuals.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing and implementing activities.
• Prepare supplies, participant lists and schedules; escort residents to activities.
• Keep daily records of activities and participation.
• Attend scheduled trainings related to patient activities and resident care.
• Assist with outings.

Monroe Village is seeking a highly energetic Part-Time Activities Aide to join our team!

Monroe Village is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Monroe Twp, NJ. We are currently seeking a Part Time Activities Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
• Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities.
• Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities.
• Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
• Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
• Assist with outings.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred
• 2 Years experience in a similar role preferred
