Job summary

St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including PET/CT and therapy, with emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine, and BLS certification within six months. Typically involves shift work with rotating on-call duties and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N) registration or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to advanced nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (therapy, QMP, PET/CT, and nuclear pharmacist backup as applicable).
• Reviews medical records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals observing safety and labeling procedures.
• Posts/processes images and labels with patient identifiers and locations.
• Maintains records per regulatory requirements and documents charges.
