Job summary

Adventureland Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our rides team. You will perform daily inspections, diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out repairs to keep attractions safe and functional.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, English proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior experience with amusement rides is preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• 1–2 years prior maintenance or mechanical experience highly desired.
• Experience with roller coasters, amusement rides, or similar attractions is valued but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of attractions and property.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Respond to trouble calls with urgency.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per manufacturers’ specs.
• Maintain clean, safe park facilities and equipment.
• Tear down and reassemble machines and equipment correctly.
• Read ride maintenance manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
