Job summary

Landry's is seeking a Rides Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of all amusement park rides and attractions at our Houston location. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Have prior amusement park rides maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of rides and attractions to identify mechanical, structural, and electrical issues; utilize diagnostic tools to assess ride performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on rides and attractions to resolve malfunctions and reduce downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on rides and attractions according to manufacturer specifications and park guidelines to extend equipment lifespan and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and part replacements; report major repairs and required parts to supervisors or Manager.
• Ensure all work is done following established safety protocols and guidelines; participate in ongoing safety training and certifications.
• Respond to ride breakdowns and emergencies promptly, ensuring guest safety and facilitating repairs to restore ride functionality quickly.
