San Pedro Playhouse is seeking a Ticket Concierge to warmly assist patrons seeking tickets for San Pedro Playhouse and Classic Theatre productions. The role handles ticket sales, answers inquiries by phone and email, and ensures accurate records in our ticketing system, delivering hospitality-focused service.

The position emphasizes schedule flexibility with evening and weekend shifts, a non-supervisory role, and a commitment to accessibility and community engagement in a nonprofit theatre.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience in ticketing, hospitality, retail, or arts environments.
• Excellent phone and email communication with warm, professional demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving and diplomatic issue resolution.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and multi-tasking.
• Familiarity with ticketing/CRM systems (AudienceView, Tessitura, Patron Manager preferred).
• Proficient computer skills with email and internet; willingness to learn new software.
• Genuine enthusiasm for theatre and accessibility of the arts.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently during shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to emails with ticket information, pricing, seating options.
• Process ticket orders via phone and email, including single tickets and packages.
• Address exchanges, refunds, accommodations, and patron concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate patron records in AudienceView and ensure data quality.
• Provide on-site walk-in box office support during shifts.
• Coordinate with Advancement and Front of House teams on patron issues.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of productions, schedules, seating charts, and pricing.
