Formación

• Education & Experience: Experience in Technical Theatre, Stage Management, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of modern theatrical sound and lighting setups, stage rigging equipment, set construction techniques, and safety protocols.
• Teaching Experience: Background working with high school students in an educational setting.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with students, staff, and community members.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Technical Director for two annual after-school productions: Fall play and Spring musical, coordinating student leaders of lighting, sound, and set construction.
• Oversee set construction after school and occasional weekends.
• Oversee lighting crew in design, fixture hanging, focusing, and programming.
• Oversee sound crew in design, microphone setup, and sound system configuration.
• Supervise stage rigging work including hanging backdrops, set pieces, and props.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot lighting, sound, and stage rigging systems with safety standards.
• Mentor student backstage crews to foster a collaborative, safe work environment.
• Oversee set strikes and stage maintenance for all productions.
