Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs seeks Theatre Technicians to operate production equipment at the Holly Springs Cultural Center (primary focus) and at other Town venues. You will set up, operate, and maintain theatrical and event production equipment, including lighting, audio, and set pieces.

Technicians work in a team to support guest artists, performance groups, and renters with lighting, sound, and set requirements, and may lead a small crew during performances, events, and rentals.

Qualifications

• A working knowledge of audio mixing consoles and other audio equipment, such as microphones and speakers.
• Theatre lighting consoles and equipment, as well as lighting design.
• Theatre set construction or carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain theatrical and event production equipment, including lighting, audio, and set pieces.
• Lead a small team of Technicians during performances, events, and rentals.
• Supervise the theater and technical equipment during performances, events, and rentals.
• Collaborate with guest artists, performance groups, and renters to meet lighting, sound, and set requirements.
