Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Employee to repair and maintain theatre facilities and equipment. The role involves servicing seats, walls, fixtures, and related areas, often during non-operating hours and occasionally during showtimes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the General Manager, ordering parts, maintaining tools, and ensuring safety. The position requires 18+ years of age and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Team-oriented yet capable of working independently.
• Ability to follow directions and act with urgency.
• Reliable transportation to obtain parts and supplies.
• Able to maneuver in limited-space areas.
• Able to safely mix and dispose of chemicals per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains theatre and theatre property including tile, carpet floors, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls, wall coverings, partitions, drinking fountains, minor plumbing and electrical work, office furniture, auditorium seats.
• Keeps Cinemark-owned tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, ordered.
• Removes and disposes of trash and broken parts from repair areas.
• Cleans and organizes maintenance storage areas.
• Inspects theatre and property to ensure cleanliness and readiness for next day.
• Coordinates with General Manager on items to repair/maintain.
• Communicates needs for parts and supplies to General Manager.
• Keeps theatre keys and secures doors during non-operating hours.
• Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management.
• Works with outside vendors and directs them to work areas.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
