Arts & Culture in Salt Lake City is seeking an Assistant House Manager to help ensure patrons are safe, satisfied and welcomed at events, while supporting the smooth operation of house staff.

You will supervise volunteer ushers, assist with accessibility needs, manage program distribution, and monitor venue safety and cleanliness throughout performances. This is a temporary, at-will position with flexible nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competenze

• Two (2) years of customer service experience required.
• Theater or venue experience is a plus.
• Preference for applicants with prior supervisory experience.

Mansioni

• Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons while enforcing venue policies.
• Assist patrons with accessibility needs (wheelchair assistance, ALD distribution, seating).
• Oversee and mentor volunteer ushers to ensure duties are completed.
• Manage and troubleshoot on-site equipment as needed.
• Distribute and organize programs/playbills.
• Monitor safety and cleanliness of the venue before and during events.
• Assist the House Manager and report issues promptly.
• Support emergency procedures and evacuations if needed.
