Job summary

Regal Cinemas, Inc. is seeking part-time Floor Staff for Fairfax, VA location. Team members may work in Box Office, Concession, or Usher roles to ensure guests receive exceptional service in a theatre environment.

Positions include variable hour, part-time fixed, or part-time regular schedules with duties spanning ticketing, food service, and guest assistance, all while upholding Regal policies and dress code standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
• If the theatre sells alcohol and your duties include selling/serving alcohol, complete legally required state/local training and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
• Language Ability: Possess good public speaking, listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
• Math Ability: Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
• Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems; take action under pressure.
• Personal Skills: Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Operate Box Office POS system and handle cash, cards, and tickets accurately.
• Upsell Premium Viewing Experience and promote Regal Crown Club.
• Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA ratings and company policy.
• Respond to guest questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate and clean concession equipment and manage stock/inventory.
• Comply with food safety laws and applicable breaks or meals.
• Read and follow training materials on harassment and discrimination.
• Tear tickets, collect stubs, and direct guests to seats as an Usher.
• Maintain theatre cleanliness, safety, and order during and after shows.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and report issues to management.
