Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Event Security professional for on-site security at the Saenger Theatre in Mobile. The role supports events at the venue and the Mobile Convention Center as needed, with a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation is an hourly rate of $14.00–$16.00 with part-time benefits. Responsibilities include admitting staff and guests, answering information requests, and maintaining security during events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior security experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all event security duties as assigned.
• Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
• Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Provides regular security functions within the Saenger Theatre and related areas prior to, during, and after all events.
• When requested, provide escorts of people to and from locations within the Theatre facility.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
