Oak View Group is seeking an on-site Operations Staff member for Mobile Convention Center, Saenger Theatre, and Regions Arena. This part-time role handles event setup, changeover, and light cleaning to meet schedules and tenant specs. Flexible hours include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Pay ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, with 401(k) benefits for part-time staff. Based in Mobile, AL, the position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and breaks down event spaces for shows, including setting up and taking down chairs, stages, tables, and counters in accordance with event work orders.
• Uses equipment such as dollies, chair jacks, forklifts, etc. as required upon completion of training.
• Performs minimal custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and vacuuming rooms being set up.
• Back up housekeeping for disposing of all waste, including bulk trash removal from the hall, and participate in the recycling program as required.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, needed repairs, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
