Job summary

The Arthur Miller Foundation (AMF) Connecticut Fellows Program seeks a part-time program manager to advance equitable access to theater education in public schools. You will serve as the main contact for CT Fellows, Mentors, and Cultural Partners, manage budget, schedule, events, and communications.

This role blends administrative duties with strategic planning, requiring strong organization, relationship-building, and travel within CT for Fellow visits and program events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and five or more years in arts education or a related nonprofit setting preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing external partners, vendors, or contractors.
• Working knowledge of theater education, the public school system, and nonprofits.
• Ability to travel to CT schools for Fellow visits and program events.
• Strong Google Workspace proficiency and digital organizational skills.
• Experience in proposal writing with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to identify, engage, and support prospective candidates or program participants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AMF team and district administration to plan and implement the annual program schedule.
• Recruit, contract, assign, and manage AMF CT Mentors and Cultural Partners.
• Manage communication with CT Fellows, detailing supports, deadlines, events, and expectations.
• Plan all events, professional development opportunities, and meetings for the CT program.
• Identify key requirements for program success and adjust offerings and schedule accordingly.
• Oversee annual CT Program research evaluation and budget development.
