Job summary

Cinemark is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre, crossing all departments and coaching team members. The role supports the General Manager and aims to develop into Senior Assistant Manager and beyond after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays, and a strong customer service focus. Health benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses within expected timeframe.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state certifications as required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude; provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all theatre departments and job functions; trains and coaches Team Members.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes theatre and property conditions; reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures compliance with dress code and delivers superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines and reporting protocols for Employee relations.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identifies and addresses safety hazards and PPE usage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
