Job summary

Classic Cinemas North Riverside Theatre in Riverside, IL is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to lead our team and ensure memorable guest experiences while keeping operations profitable. You'll schedule, supervise concession staff and ushers, coordinate inventory, handle basic repairs, and ensure smooth daily theatre operations, including nights, holidays and weekends per business needs.

• Management experience preferred; strong people skills and leadership.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Computer and projector experience helpful; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a weekly employee schedule.
• Operate within schedule to achieve satisfactory performance and profit.
• Take weekly inventory of concession items and operating supplies.
• Perform basic repairs and write work orders for items beyond your ability.
• Interact with the public to promote and maintain patronage; greet guests.
• Ensure end-of-month paperwork is completed and submitted on time.
