Job summary

Classic Cinemas Fox Lake Theatre is seeking a motivated, people-first, full-time Assistant Manager to lead our team and ensure memorable guest experiences while maintaining profitability. This role reports to the Director of Operations and oversees concessions staff and ushers.

Expect nights, holidays, and weekends as needed to meet business goals. Requirements include management experience and strong interpersonal skills, with basic math and computer/projector familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising staff is preferred and demonstrates leadership.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential.
• Basic math and reporting skills are required for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a weekly employee schedule.
• Operate within the schedule to achieve performance and profit goals.
• Take weekly inventory of concession items and operating supplies.
• Enter and receive information through the computer.
• Interact with guests to promote patronage and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure end-of-month paperwork is completed and filed on time.
• Screen and interview applicants and provide on-the-job training.
• Verify payroll, deposits, receipts and daily disbursements; manage deposits.
• Supervise staff on site and operate booth; upload and view movies.
